Sweet Sunday

JR has been asking us for awhile if he could get baptized.

Unexpectedly, Jason had to come to Houston on Thursday for work, and got to spend this weekend with us.

So we thought it would be a great time for JR to get baptized in my parents' church.

JR went up and talked to the preacher on Friday, and was super excited for his big day today.

After, they asked my dad to stand up and give our family history at their church.

The church was founded in 1911, and my grandmother (who was a teenager) joined as a charter member.

Pretty cool that her great-grandson (who has literally lived all over the world) would be baptized at that same church 101 years later!
