Sky High

On our last day in Maui we decided to go see the Haleakala volcano.
Neither Jason nor I had ever been to a volcano before, so we were seriously impressed.

Driving from sea level to 10,023 feet is quite a drive!

(Sorry Durango, Maui's Haleakala beats you by a few thousand feet.)

At 29,703 feet high, Haleakala is actually 675ft taller than Mt. Everest.
It just happens to have 19,680 of those feet underwater!
It's crazy being higher than the clouds.
