All of Houston seemed to be super happy to see the month of October come.
It has been so nice to be "busy" and be back in a routine again.
JR played in his first football game the other night. He had to take PE this year since he didn't last year, so he decided he'd take athletics and play football. All of his best buddies are on the B team with him, so they are having lots of fun.
Because of the hurricane, the 10 game season got cut down to 5...which is fine by everyone in this house!

And in other news, JR is going to homecoming.
Yes, he's in 8th grade.
Yes, it's a high school thing.
He's taking a family friend's daughter that is a freshman.
They are both excited to go.
Asking someone to homecoming is a whole big "thing" now.
Thankfully the internets is full of signs that moms made for their sons for me to copy.
Also, you have to call it "HOCO", not homecoming.
