These next 2 weeks are going to be filled with lasts.
Yesterday was my last Hunters Creek Mother's Day Luncheon.
It's always one of my favorite days of the year, and this year was no exception.
We've had terrible weather this week so school was canceled on Friday due to flooding, which meant none of our kids were in school so we didn't have to "rush off" at 2:45 to go pick them up.
And there certainly wasn't any rushing since we left about 6:30.
Not surprisingly, the exact same moms (except 1) that were the last to leave 2 years ago, were the ones left yesterday.
I will definitely miss one of my favorite Mother's Day traditions I've enjoyed these last 4 years.
