I took exactly one picture at Christmas.

We went with Kyle to see Iris and check out his new baby chicks.
The new baby chicks are super cute.
We got in from NYC on Sunday after:
our flight being cancelled, getting on another flight, not having one of our bags make it to Houston, and my view from the window before take-off looking like this.
I was already not caught up, so of course, I tagged along with Jason to NYC, to get even farther behind in getting ready to make Christmas "magical".
Jason had a work thing he had to go to, and then here's all the other things we did:
We went and got our picture made at Fox News (twice). And yes, I'm wearing 2 coats.
It seems I can't get caught up with life these days! Jason and I went on a cruise for a week right after Thanksgiving and I'm just behind on everything.
We had a fabulous time, but I only have 3 pictures to show for the entire week. I guess I was too busy stuffing my face and not moving off the lounge chair to take any pictures!
Here's every picture I have.
We had a very nice Thanksgiving.
Unfortunately, Reed was dethroned in the Turkey Trot by an Iron Man and came in 5th overall (out of about 700 runners).
But I think he's ok since he caught a big fish.
And here's my mom and me posing with all the food we didn't cook, so that always makes everything taste better!
Jason celebrated his double-nickel birthday yesterday, and we did lots of celebrating.
We had a party with our friends last weekend.
It was a fancy week last week.
Jason and I were invited to a black tie event and we looked like this
We spent all of our life's savings at the Renaissance Festival this weekend. We haven't been since the kids were little because we've been having to save up to afford to go again.
As usual, they ate all the food: 3 turkey legs, a sausage on a stick, an order of empanadas, a fried chicken on a stick, an order of fried Oreos, and an ice cream sandwich.
They played all the usual games.
Kyle is doing shooting sports this year and he had his first tournament on Sunday. I'm not exactly sure what the events are called, but I went and watched and I thought Kyle did a good job. (Jason confirmed that, yes, he did well for his first tournament ever.)
The reason Reed was wearing a Yale T-shirt is because Wednesday was National Signing Day and one of Reed's best friends signed at Yale.
