September Wrap Up

Since I fell apart blogging about September here's a super quick wrap up.

Chloe has been doing Chloe things.

JR has been doing JR things.

Kyle has been doing Kyle things.

I've been doing Jan things.

And Jason has been trying to keep Reed from growing taller than him. 

Where Have I Been

 I'm not sure what's happened, but I just haven't been able to keep up with blogging this September.  Partly because I've been making mums, which I finished this weekend! (The seniors do all white mums.)  And, yes, I made all the graduation caps, aren't they the cutest?!

Austin

 Reed and I spent the weekend in Austin for a UT visit.  We had a great tour and saw all the things.  The highlight was getting to go out on the football field.

We even went to a volleyball game, which is actually really fun.

And of course, the football game.

 I've done a terrible job keeping up with Reed's cross country meets, which I think he's had 3 since I last posted about them.

All 3 have been very competitive, and I just can't believe kids can run this fast.

The meet of Labor Day Weekend he ran a 16:20 (5K) and got 15th place. He was very happy with his time.

He's so sweaty we try not to touch him. 

Then the next week he ran a 16:24 and placed 24th (out of 120).  I actually thought he must be doing awful to be that "far" back, but the meet was just super, super competitive.

And this weekend he ran a 16:12! Which got him 8th place.  

And his coaches from last year came to see him.

It's been fun watching him run so fast!

No Words

I'm not in the mood to write, but I'm also angry and sad so here we go.

All Kinds of Media

 Seems like all the media things have been coming out at one time. 

Cross country had some pictures made for social media.

Now that they have those, they don't have to use these sweaty, after race pictures.

Then the fall sports hype video came out.  Reed is in it wearing all his medals. 

And then they had an interview after one of their meets

Labor Day

 We all had a fun labor day.

JR had fun at a gig.

Kyle had fun at the beach

Reed had fun catching a big fish.

And Chloe had fun hanging with Jason and me.
