Their Favorite Season

Good thing they all have jobs during baseball season to pay for their truly favorite season, crawfish.

Chloe gets herself up in there too...hoping one slips her way.

Speaking of Baseball

Speaking of baseball season, JR went to a UT game with a friend yesterday.  We were all surprised when we got this text

Leave it to Kyle to ask what we were all thinking.

And then it all made sense.

"Catching" it or not, he was excited.

The Big Boss and his Employees

Baseball season has started which means all 3 of these have gone to work.  JR is the head boss this year, and the other 2 are learning how not make bad calls and get screamed at by parents and coaches.

They had a tournament this weekend, so JR and Reed worked Thursday and Friday night and all-day Saturday.  Kyle worked half the day Saturday, and they were all definitely worn out!

They've got a lot to live up to to be as good as The Master.

Kyle and JR umpired Zachary's (my friend Shelley's son) game last night and I got these cute pictures from her.

Puppies!

If there's a puppy in a ten-mile radius my household is going to sniff it out.

Kyle had to go a lot fewer than ten miles since Chloe (his friend, not our dog) only lives 3 streets over and has new puppies.

Kyle was over immediately.  As in, these little babies are only 2 days old.

And already in Kyle's arms.

And yes, I've already told him no...we're not getting another dog.

They Grew Up

When JR told me he was going to Senior Girls with Mary I may or may not have jumped up and down and clapped excitedly.

The big event was this past weekend and JR looked very handsome even though he thinks tuxedos are stupid and he would have looked better without a tie and his shirt unbuttoned to his navel.

I made him take pictures of the "long trek" next door to Mary's house to pick her up.

They looked so good! And yes, I made her nose gay.

All the girl parents get to go and the whole family looked great, besides being just the sweetest!

Their whole group

At the event

I'm not sure how we got here so fast, it feels like just yesterday they were starting middle school!

Track Season

Reed has won 1st place in pole vault in the first 2 track meets of the year.

The first meet he cleared 7'6

and the 2nd meet 8'0

On a side note, I've been told I'm not allowed to scream "run, run, run, run, run, run, run, run," as he runs down the track and "you've got, you've got it, you've got it" as he's trying to go over.

(Although I'm pretty sure it totally helps.)

And there's your winner.
