Season Over

Basketball season is officially over with Reed's team winning a total of a whopping 2 games.  This is the first time in 2 years he hasn't gone to the championship game, but we certainly knew that wasn't going to happen much earlier in the season.

Win or loose, watching Reed play basketball is so fun.  He never seems to get rattled, but he sure can rattle whoever he's covering. We are now in full swing of baseball, which he loves too.

Anything can Happen Thursday

I never know what this one is going to do next.
Nothing really surprises me, since anything can happen.

Sometimes it's sloths in Walmart carts

Sometimes I get texted pictures like this

And sometimes moms approach me with pictures of their daughter celebrating her birthday at school.

And why would a mom show me that picture? Take a closer look in the back.

Can't say I blame him for that photo bomb!

Valentines

This is the first Valentine's Day in 12 years that I haven't had to make classroom sets of Valentines or Valentine boxes.  I thought I would be sad, but I didn't miss it at all.

Jason sent me the most beautiful and ginormous bouquet of roses I've ever seen.

I can barely pick it up, and I put Chloe next to it to for scale!

Jason and I went out and had a very nice time.  Granny Sherry, Kyle, and Reed went to Chick-fil-a where they had heart shaped chicken.  And JR went to a basketball game.

A Wet Weekend

Granny Sherry and Kyle were in Dallas this weekend for a dive meet.  Kyle placed 5th in 3 meter and 8th in 1 meter in the 12-13 year old division.

We are so proud of him.  It's not easy to dive against 13 year olds, but he gets out there and makes it look easy!

Our Audience

We had so many friends and family come out and support Singin' in the Rain.  It really meant a lot to us to have so many people!

One of the professional pictures even caught JR waving from the stage to some of his favorite audience members during the curtain call.

 (Spoiler alert: they weren't family.)

Yup, Girls.

Even though we didn't get waved at from the stage, the family was out in full force.

And our friends and neighbors

And some people just had their picture made with the star's mother.

I'm Still Recovering

I'm still recovering from 4 shows of Singin' in the Rain this weekend, or maybe I'm still recovering from the parent after-show party and getting home after 4:00 am.  Either way, I'm almost back to the land of living.
