As my last post of 2021 I thought I'd post about something super exciting...the weather!

We didn't expect any snow in Breckenridge this Christmas, and when we arrived it looked like this.
Kyle told me I had to blog 2 more times this year, so I guess I better get after it.
The only thing the boys would give up skiing for is fishing, and that's just what they did. I'm not sure anything looks more cold or less fun, but they loved ice fishing.
They caught 24 rainbow trout so they were happy, and JR and I stayed home so we were happy too!
Merry Christmas from The Ingersolls that JR "doesn't like enough to ski with".
We did force him to take a Christmas Eve picture with us last night before church.
None of us are wearing shoes so this is how tall we all are in real life.
Santa brought stocking presents this morning.
The weather has been absolutely gorgeous since we got here. The snow hasn't been so great, but I'm ok with that in exchange for perfect weather.
Others in this family might disagree, but I'll take bad snow and a sunny day!
It's basketball season and the thing I love most is that Reed has to dress up for school on game days!
My Christmas tree is up and looking as cute as always. I only have 1 decorated tree this year, which I'm totally fine with!
Sam the Elf showed up last night so he'd be ready to be found this morning. Kyle is in charge of him again. The kids were excited to get their chocolate Advant calendars this morning, even JR ran back from backing out of the driveway to get his!
We had a nice relaxing Thanksgiving week.
We went to see Pat Green and sang along with every song. (that's the back of JR).
Kyle went to a little friendsgiving celebration with his diving friends last weekend. These kids dive (at least) 5 days a week together, but they still want to hang out with each other.
It's funny to see them all dressed up and not wet. This is about as dressed up as I usually see them...when they're at the gym doing dry land.
And speaking of diving, Kyle's been working on a double in pike. He says he's made up for all the spankings he deserved from slapping in to the pool.
Not to be outdone by everybody else in the family, Reed also had a big week last week. He found out he made the basketball team which was super exciting.
And his pole vaulting is going great, he'll definitely be ready for track season.
Jason and I went to see JR's show Saturday night, but the show I really should have seen was Friday night.
JR starts the show in this tent. He pops out and tells the audience about how to behave during the show, is chased out by security, and then doesn't return until intermission and the 2nd act.
