Other Stuff

 So what were the kids up to while we were gone?  

Well, they were all pretty busy.

JR made a weekend trip up to Oxford, and still managed to show up to work on time and on their insta. 

Kyle went to UT diving camp for the week.  

And Reed stayed home and worked.  Here's a picture of him playing golf because I'm sure he somehow managed to get that in there too. 

Best for Last

 I saved the best cruise post for last because what's better than sloth pictures?!  

We told the taxi driver in Roatan to "take us to the place where you can hold the sloths".

They are just soooo cute!

We also hung out with the monkeys

and the toucans

Then we went up to a scenic spot where you could see the cruise ship.  When we got back on I noticed you could see where we had been! 

It was a great, super fun week! 

Likes

 We get asked a lot what we like about cruising.  So here we are doing the things we like.

We like to sit by the pool.

We like to eat (our dinner looks)

I guess I got extra excited about these, as these were my food pictures.

We like to win trivia. 

Debbie and I were super impressed with our win in movie love song trivia.

Although we lost Friends trivia because we couldn't remember the name of Rachel's cat. (Mrs. Whiskerson) 

My face when we lost 80's music trivia because I said "I Remember You" was "Love of a Lifetime" 

We technically "won" Queen trivia because someone might have been texting JR (don't worry, we didn't accept the key chain prize) and we lost Mama Mia which I fully blame Jason for since his favorite song is Chiquita, which he didn't recognize. 

Speaking of Jason, I decided to join him for his morning walk. We thought we were hilarious. 

Of course, Reed did not. 

22 and 25

 So Jason and I just got back from a weeklong cruise with our friends, Scott and Debbie, to celebrate our anniversaries.  Their 25th and our 22nd. 

We were serenated "Happy Anniversary" to the tune of Happy Birthday at least 3 times! 

So here's what we looked like on a normal night. 

And here's what Jason and I looked like on our actual anniversary after thinking we were sitting in the shade all day, but clearly, we weren't. 

Jason's suit is pink! Not that you can tell with how pink we are! 

These pictures just crack me up! 

And anniversary we will definitely remember! 

Feelin' 22

 22 years and we haven't changed a bit! Bless our hearts.

Father's Day

Flag Day #3

 I just got back from celebrating Flag Day at a friend's house in Port Aransas.  

This is the second time I've been to Port Aransas, and I still haven't been to the beach, but I can see it from her house, and that's really good enough.  We went shopping, ate and ate, and this bunch loves to play games.  I only won 1 game out of all the games we played the entire time we were there, so I took a picture.

And here we are on Flag Day, and my Flag Day "cake". 

 The whole entire place sang happy "flag day" to me, including the mayor who happened to be there, and also happens to be my sorority sister! 

Flag Day 1 & 2

 It's not even Flag Day yet, but I've already had 2 celebrations.  We went out to dinner with friends this weekend and ate yummy food and had lots of fun. 

I think they all know me a little too well, just look at some of my presents.

And this present really steals the show.  Our friend that takes all the great sports and theatre photos had snapped this one of me talking to Chloe through our window a while back.  He framed it, signed it, and it's now in our living room as it should be! 

Reed said that I "ruined a great portrait of Chloe", but I love it. 

And then we celebrated again with the family when Granny Sherry brought over a polar pizza, which everyone definitely loved. 

More Keeping Up

 Reed doesn't turn up on Insta, but we still get pics of him sent to us to keep up with him.

None of us can keep up with his running, but at least he takes some breaks. 

 (And I promise we feed him.)

A Different Wild Kingdom

 Here's the wild kingdom we have going on in this house.

 Kyle has been at MawMaw and PawPaw's so you know there's always a new wild situation in those parts.  He trapped a raccoon up by the house so they could relocate him away from the chickens and guineas.

I told him he should get extra credit in ag for this!

The other wildlife he's been encountering are much more calm. 

Hanging Out

 We were excited to go see JR at his summer job at the Hang Out.  He's part of the entertainment team and I can't think of a more perfect job.

We went for lunch and went back at dinner to watch him in action.

And, of course, we had to swing by and get the annual shark mouth picture.
