Senior Girls

The boys were invited to Senior Girls, and I think we have now gotten through all the parties until prom.

Everyone looked great and had a great time!

He Made it Out

Here's what JR has been going through since Saturday night.  His apartment was 50 degrees last night! He was able to get out this afternoon and head to a friend's house in Biloxi.  School is cancelled for the rest of the week.

This is the bridge that Jason and I always walk over from our hotel to get to campus.

I'm so happy he was able to get out and will be warm tonight!

NYC 2026

Reed got back last week from his school trip to NYC.  About 30 kids from the business program spent 4 days doing all the things.  And when I say "all the things", I literally don't think there is a thing they didn't see.  He said his favorite thing they did was going to see Hamilton, which means I definitely have to see it now.  He said it was the most fun trip he's ever been on.

Senior Men's

So after getting home at 1:00 am on Sunday morning, we had Reed's group for Senior Men's arrive at our house for the pre party at 5:15 that afternoon.  So yes, my Christmas decorations are still up because I haven't had a chance to take them down!

The theme was Après Ski so everyone literally had on everything you can imagine.

Jason's white tux jacket was a big hit.

I thought my dress looked like a snowball.  One of the girls told me "you look so cute, I hope I look like you when I get old".  Yes, I guess I'm old, but I'll take it!

Jason and I stayed about an hour and then left to go home and go to sleep!

18

Can you believe these little people are 18 today?!

We've been calling Kyle "Little Jason" for years, but he truly is Jason made over.  He doesn't just look exactly like him, he acts just like him too.  Kyle can do anything: he can fix it, he can build it, and he especially can talk his way in (or out) of it.

Reed was the smallest of our kids weighing in at only 4 pounds 15 ounces and is now the tallest brother in the family.  He is such a hard worker, and I am literally in awe of all the dedication he has put in to accomplishing all of his goals in the last four years.

Jason and I are so proud to call them ours!

A Flat Trip

We were making great time home from Colorado- It was 9:00 pm and we had just gone through Dallas.  We were on schedule for a bit before midnight arrival....

And then we got a flat tire.

Luckily there was an exit and a big gas station right by us.

The actual changing of the tire took the least amount of time.  It was finding the spare and then how to get the spare that was the most time consuming (It required unloading Jason's perfectly loaded trunk.)

These guys changed the tire

And JR bought snacks at the gas station.

We were only delayed about an hour, so we were able to make it home by 1:00!
