JR went to the Turning Point event last night. He had tickets to go before Charlie was murdered, and I'm so glad they didn't cancel. Both Erika Kirk and our future president spoke.
JR lined up at 11:00 and they let them in at 3:00 (the event started at 6:00)
My girlfriends and I went to see Megyn Kelly on Thursday. It was very similar to the Gutfeld show, but I have to give it to Gutfeld, I think his was just a bit better. It took forever to get in because Don Jr. was one of her guests, so we all had to go through secret service security. I don't even own a purse small enough that was allowed, so I had my phone in one pocket and my car key in another.
She came out to Kid Rock, so I was impressed right from the start.
We went up to Oxford to see JR this weekend. It's always a fun time in Oxford, which is why I guess I don't have any pictures.
I started tearing up when we arrived in Huntsville, and Jason started laughing at me. We knew this would be Reed's last cross country meet (ever) and it was bittersweet.
They had a nice send off to regionals.
During the summer one of my friend's daughters reached out to me to do an article on Chloe. She had an internship at one of the local magazines and obviously she knew who had the most beautiful dog in all the land.
I had actually forgotten about it until someone sent it to me. So, here's Chloe's in-print debut.
Reed isn't the only athletic winner in the family, guess who else won something?
That's right, me!
Ok, so it's not nearly as exciting as running far really fast, but I won 1st place and I won some cool prizes. I did all the different work out classes that the club has to offer in the month of September. I had to go to water aerobics and the senior citizen class, but worst of all, I had to take 3 different yoga classes!

Reed ran his last cross country district meet last week. It was a little sad because we really enjoy watching him run (fast).

The 4th of the college acceptances arrived last week, and I'm not going to lie, I may have screamed, run out in the driveway squealing to find Jason, and have scared him that someone had died.
And Kyle wearing his College of Charleston sweatshirt is about as on brand for our family as Reed wearing his Babson shirt to tour Boston College.
Jason and I took a quick trip up to Breckenridge this weekend, and I don't even have any pictures to show for it. But I do have a video of a mama and baby moose we saw, which is pretty cool.
You'll never convince me we don't have the best Halloween decorations in the neighborhood, because we absolutely do.
Reed was able to get them up on Saturday.
I know all the little neighborhood kids that visit each day in their strollers and pet and hug the blow ups are happy!
I scored the giant cat last year after Halloween and he really is a showstopper!
If the weekend wasn't busy enough with homecoming and then Gutfeld, Kyle had pig selection day on Monday!
He did lots of careful looking
MawMaw and Granny Sherry have birthdays a month apart. They also watch Greg Gutfeld every night. So when I saw that he was coming to Houston, I thought that would make a great birthday present for them.
He was here on Sunday afternoon, and we all really enjoyed him. I've only seen bits of the show a few times and even I thought it was really entertaining.
Jason is in charge of taking all selfies so I'm terrible at them!
I'm not going to lie, Jason and I will definitely miss things when all the kids are out of the house, but homecoming weekend is not one of them.
To be fair, this one was pretty easy, even with Kyle's group being at our house Friday night.
