Chloe's Breckenridge

Chloe has turned in to a full mountain dog, and is upset all of her pictures haven't been featured.

She enjoys posing with me.

And with Jason

She is not a fan of the gondola.

But she's a big fan of walks downtown that include ice cream stops.

Breckenridge #3

Jason and I went paddle boarding on Lake Dillon and we were both petrified of falling in the water since, as Jason likes to say, "the water was snow 10 minutes ago".

Jason didn't fall in, but I fell in twice.  It actually wasn't as cold as I thought it was going to be...even though Jason says I had a look of sheer panic on my face when I came up.  (Not only do I not have any pictures of my panic face, but I don't have any pictures of us at all.)

We also took the gondola up to walk around the ski resort.

We met this guy up there.

And Chloe wanted her picture with him too.

Right after this picture was taken she took off running after a squirrel.

Breckenridge #2

Jason and I continued to huff and puff our way through the wilderness of Colorado.
And when I say "wilderness" I mean on clearly marked and well-maintained trails.

We walked around Shock Hill Loop

where Chloe thinks she might have seen a fox.

On our way down we stopped to take a picture where you can see both the gondola and our house in the background.

Today we did the Lower Cataract Loop Trail.

Jason channeled his best Patrick Swayze in Dirty Dancing log walk.

And Chloe channeled her inner mountain goat.

Breckenridge #1

Jason and I are in Breckenridge and it is so nice to enjoy the cool weather!

There's a mandatory mask rule on Main Street, but at least everything is open.

We went and hiked the Burro Trail and we were definitely panting going up, so we were happy to stop for photo-ops to catch our breath.

The trail wasn't crowded at all, so Chloe was able to do a little off leash trail running!

Flying High

The rec center where Kyle dives shut down again, so the only diving he can do is at the racquet club on boards that aren't regulation height.

He may not be able to practice his dives he competes, but he's definitely got the flying through the air down.

Gorgeous as Always

At this point Chloe's life is way more exciting than the rest of ours.

She got her hair done today, and of course, she looks gorgeous!

This Might As Well Be A Fishing Blog

Fishing seems to be one of the few things in the world that isn't shut down.
And these 2 are taking full advantage.

Firestarter

The kids tried their best to light themselves on fire, but we were able to make it through their fireworks extravaganza without a trip to the emergency room.
