 My daddy turns 83 today.  We celebrated this weekend and I got in an extra celebration today!

I Can't See You

Chloe has been doing an amazing job of being extra camouflagey lately.

First and Last

 Besides the family day at the rodeo, we made it to the first night, the last night, and a couple more in-between. 

It's been so wonderful to have our Houston March tradition back this year!

This year we saw:

Cody Johnson on the first night

Tim McGraw- (who I always love, but unfortunately didn't get to hold hands with this year since I wasn't on the floor.)

Luke Bryan (who I actually felt secondhand embarrassment for as he's getting a bit old for his cheesiness)

And we ended rodeo season with King George.

Audience Shot

I can pretend that I'm all exasperated and embarrassed that JR showed up in an audience shot on the Velcro Pygmies' Insta page.  

But who are we kidding? We all know I think it's awesome.

SB 22

 We're back from our SB 22 trip to Orange Beach.

We took "traditional" photos.

We had a great view of all the things (including Kyle).

Jason and I did a great job relaxing.

And the kids had fun at the beach.

Just Cut the Ending

 When you really want to go down the waterslide, but the pool isn't heated.

Family Rodeo

 It was nice to have the entire family back at the rodeo after 2 years, especially on such a beautiful day!

Reed won a pig.

Kyle won a koozie after hanging for a minute and half (he's done this before in previous years).

JR had his hand-me-down boots from Jason shined up.

And Jason and I were happy we didn't have to ride rides or hold terrified children in a petting zoo.

It made me sad that this will be JR's last rodeo living at home, so I'm so glad we got to experience it again!
