Friday Dives

 Kyle had a dive meet on Friday where he dove both 1 and 3 meter (which I can't even remember the last time I saw him dive 3 meter).

He got 4th place in 3 meter, and 3rd place in 1 meter where he's added some new twister dives.

I didn't even know Kyle and Willie were going to be in our local magazine until someone texted me the picture. 

 

Oxford

 I left the day after Halloween to go spend a few extra days with JR since I hadn't seen him since August. 

Never fear, he still looks the same.

While I was there I toured multiple sorority houses

Watched JR "work" at his job as a houseboy.

And I got to visit with lots of the girls

The rest of the family arrived on Friday 

And we did the grove on Saturday.  The kids went to the game, we stayed in the grove.

After the game we toured the fraternity house

And some signed JR's door. (I tried to block out the bad words, sorry if I missed some)

My favorite is that Reed signed it "start studying" (it's at the top)

But even Granny Sherry signed it!

Halloween Night

 Well, I was pretty much right about everything that went down Halloween night.

Kyle had a diving meet- he placed 3rd.  I stayed home to pass out Halloween candy, so I'm assuming there are no pictures.

Reed studied and did homework.

And we had a million trick or treaters.  We ran out of candy (we had 1,000 pieces) and I started bagging up cookies, giving out single serving cartoons of peanut butter, and even Nutella dips.  But after I had cleaned out the pantry of every snack we own, we had to shut it down.

Halloween

 Halloween will probably be low-key around here (for us anyway) they'll be plenty of trick or treaters. 

Kyle has a diving meet and I'm sure Reed will do homework and study.

Chloe is dressing up as Willie the pig this year. 

The boys had their own pumpkin carving contest and Kyle won (the pumpkin on the left).

Don't Pass Us By

 Jason has been wanting to redo our landscaping, and as a "more is more" kinda gal, I certainly never thought getting rid of landscaping would make the house look better.  

Boy was I wrong.  

It doesn't even look like the same house.  In fact, one of Kyle and Reed's friends parked at our neighbor's house because he didn't recognize ours!

Willie Update

 Willie is doing great.  All the pigs around him have pink eye, but so far so good for Willie.

He's doing a good job of learning to walk "off leash" as we call it. (No, he was never on a leash, he's just learning to walk with Kyle. 

And he seems to really love the grass.

At this week's weigh in he was 52 pounds!
