I started tearing up when we arrived in Huntsville, and Jason started laughing at me. We knew this would be Reed's last cross country meet (ever) and it was bittersweet.
They had a nice send off to regionals.
Jason and I enjoyed watching him race one last time. We laughed about how cross country is the easiest sport for parents, and talked about how amazing it was he never got sick or injured in 4 years. It was good chapter.
Reed said "Tough conditions. Tough race."
He placed 38th out of 184 of the best runners in the region, not bad.
Reed's Instagram posts made me cry again.
These "boys" running yesterday
Were these little guys freshman year!
We've had a great time watching Reed run far...and fast!
