Dinosaur Fish

The boys spent 3 nights on the Kwando River in Namibia fishing.  This river is known for its "abundant tigerfish, a highly prized and challenging catch."

They may be called tigerfish, but Maw-Maw says they look like "dinosaurs with those big teeth", and I have to agree.

They caught about a dozen tigerfish, with Kyle catching the biggest one weighing in at 13 pounds.

And, in the list of things for me to worry about, Kyle sent this video of hippos getting into the water.

A quick google search about hippos will bring up this "fun" fact.

"Hippos cause an estimated 500 deaths annually (as compared to only 22 for lions), hippos are deadly land mammals. This is because they are very aggressive and territorial, and have a habit of charging at boats and capsizing them."
