I realized I never took a picture of Reed's mum, so I actually did 22. And here is his for his date.

The Coast is Clear (I Think)
So I finished up my last mum and garter yesterday. I was actually scared to post about this yesterday (or all day today) in fear that if I said I was done someone would ask me to make them one last minute. (I've turned down people I don't know, but I was doing last minute ones yesterday for friends.)
But since we are less than 24 hours away from the homecoming game, I feel good that I'm truly done.
And after 21 mums and garters (and a hot glue gun burn that should have been an ER visit) I am very ready to put my red and white ribbons away until next year!

Flying High and Fast
Jason and I might have had a weekend away, but Kyle and Reed were both busy.
Kyle is on the varsity swim and dive team, and he had his first meet of his high school career. He finished 5th!

Parents Weekend
Jason and I just returned from parents weekend, where we had a great time.
We started off eating breakfast here because this is where Dolly Parton ate when she came to town!
Speaking of Dolly, check out my game day button.
I got to see this person for lunch (and dinner) and I was very excited.
I'd heard all about how awesome the tailgating is, but it's pretty overwhelming when you walk up on it.
We belong to a Texas tent, and this is it.
And the inside
We got to see this one (and friends) again
And visited their tent, which didn't have quite the same offerings as ours.
We decided we were too old to sit in regular seats at the game, and I guess I'm glad we're "too old" because it was definitely too hot at 3:00 in the afternoon!

It's Still Hot
Reed came in 7th on Saturday in another hot race. Bless his heart.

More Drag Queen than Top Model
I've made way more mums than I ever thought I would, so now I'm way behind in the blogging department. I've started turning down mum orders, so I'm pretty much done and have a chance to catch up.
I was asked to walk in a fashion show for our school district last Friday. They told us to "have fun with it", but I'm not sure they knew exactly what they were getting into when they gave me those directions.
