All the Talent

The end of the year is always my busiest time with the Talent Show.
In the last week of school I had 3 dress rehearsals and 3 talent shows to do.

We had so many kids in the shows this year, we had to move 2nd grade to its own day so we could finish in time for lunches.

Kyle, Reed, and one of my friend's 5th grade son were the hosts.

Reed and Michael hosted the 2nd grade show 2 days before school got out.

Celebrating 1 show down and 2 to go with the stage manager (her mom is my friend and one of Reed's tennis coaches).
It's definitely a "family affair/who you know" situation going down at the ol' talent show.

Then Kyle and Michael hosted the kindergarten and 1st grade show the day before school was out.

Right after that show was the 3rd-5th grade show.  With 27 acts and almost 100 kids in that show it took all 3 of them to host.  Especially since Kyle and Reed were in the show too.

I'll give you one guess what kind of routine they wanted to do...you know how these boys love a mankini and wig.

You can easily spot the ones that insisted on doing their own make-up.

No doubt about it, My Single Ladies routine was a huge hit.

Reed is in the green tutu and Kyle is in the purple tutu right next to him.

After their routine Kyle and Reed jumped back in their clothes and finished up hosting.

And next year will be my last talent show!
