Money Well Spent

Buying season passes to Elitch Gardens (our theme/amusement park here in Denver) was some of the best money I've ever spent.

Even though the park doesn't open until 10:00 (and we've already been 4 times this summer) the boys were up, dressed, and standing over my bed telling me to get up and come on by 7:00.
(Lesson learned: I will never, ever, ever give them any notice that we're going.)

My sorority sister, Lori, and her brother that's visiting met us there...which meant we had a nicely sized pack of boys.
Luckily, that pack split easily into two groups: big guys and little guys.

And what are the odds that in a group of 7 boys, there would be two sets of twins, and each set has one named 'Reed'?

I have no other pictures of the big guys as they went off and rode every ride that goes upside down, backwards, and drops from unimaginable heights.

The little guys stuck with the always popular kiddieland rides.
(Though we did venture off and get completely soaked on the water rides.)

We had to make two attempts at riding the ferris wheel.  Just as we loaded the first time, somebody threw up in the car after ours, so we were all unloaded for clean-up.

But the view was well worth the second attempt.

Looking for Daddy's office.
He has to work while we go do these things, ya know.
