I had two China friends call me today to check on me and the babies, so I figured I'd better do an update. Anita told me she had read our blog to see if I had them. Then, our China friend, Katie, called tonight to check in. So....as it is now, no news is good news. I went to the doctor on Friday and told her how their movement had really slowed down. I assumed it was because they are just running out of room, but she had me go over to the hospital and let them monitor me just in case. The nurse at the hospital actually told me she thought I was "small for twins"! Bless her heart, I think she's my new best friend. They hooked me up to all the machines for about 45 minutes and their heart rates and such were fine. They really are just out of space. My mom is back here with us since JR starts school again tomorrow...She thinks the babies are coming any day and tells everybody I'm "touch and go". (If you know my mom I'm sure you are giggling right now.) I really wouldn't call it 'touch and go', more like bored, fat, and uncomfortable ;-)

Hey, I enjoyed the visit with Jason at Caleb's bd party this afternoon He had nothing but good things to say about you and the baby's progress. I thought it was cute that JR asked how long they were staying once they get here. Sounds like the babies are getting stronger and bigger by each day--that's good! You might not be lounging beside a pool somewhere, but your lounging is changing lives. Love you and pray for you and the babies daily....Lu

I know you're bound to be tired of it, but just think - this may be the last time you get to sit still for a few years! ;)
We enjoyed getting to see JR yesterday! His card was so cute!!!

I really enjoy reading your blog and I'm sure you've had enough of the bedrest thing. I've been thinking about you often and can't wait to hear the news of the twins birth. Hope they keep cooking and you don't get anymore uncomfortable! - Adrienne

Congratulations from Rochester Mn on those darling baby boys!! It brought back many memories for us as our twins, Sara and Scott who just turned 39, were 4 wks early and weighed 5#2oz and 4#13oz. I'm sure the time ahead seems endless, but enjoy every minute, it's very special. I belonged to "Mother's of Twins" club back then, and our motto was, "the only club where God chooses the members"!!
I love your website so all of us in the family can keep up with their progress. Give that "big brother" lots of attention, it's tough to be the only one, and then have a "twin invasion"--just ask our Todd who was 6 at the time!!

Best wishes to all,
Jerry and JoAnn
