Meat Coma

I usually don't highlight restaurants that haven't been visited by Adam Richmond, or owned by a Food Network star, but I figure this one will wind up on TV eventually...if they can find it.

The Leona Cafe is located in Leona, TX on Hwy 75 between Madisonville and Centerville.
They open the doors at 5:30, and if you aren't there then, you'll have to wait to get a table.

The menu is simple: pork chop, steak, or chicken.
All meals come with a trip to the salad bar, twice baked potatoes, and a huge basket of buttered rolls.

Kyle enjoying Jason's trip to the salad bar.

I ordered a pork chop.

Jason got the steak.

They do have a yummy selection of desserts, but we chose to go next door to the Leona Drug Store.
(it's a drug store only in name.)

Reed's ice cream was as big as his face.

And JR went for the root beer float

Yummers!
