Nervous Energy

I'm in ABQ tonight since I'm running in the Duke City half marathon in the morning. I've got all my stuff laid out like it's a school night, and now I'm not sure what to do with myself. A margarita sounds fantastic right about now, but I'm pretty sure that's not the best idea.

Okay, so I'm totally not a runner, but I'm slowly coming around to the idea. What kind of advice do you have for someone just starting the running game? I figure if you can do it, I can do it!

You can totally do it! Google "Hal Higdon marathon training", and he has everything from a 5K to a marathon. It gives you a schedule (I love a schedule) and tells you exactly what to do. I just started running in January!

Oh...awesome!!! Who doesn't love a schedule? And that makes me feel SO great to know you only started in January. I feel like I'm surrounded by people who run five miles every day like it's their job. I'm going to do it!!! Thanks a million times over!!!
